¡Hola! My name is Sol Landon and I’ve been teaching Spanish for 20 years on Long Island, New York. I created this site to share my proven techniques that have helped my students succeed in the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam over the years. I hope these will help you too.

DAY 1: Get ready for the AP Spanish Exam. Join a small group (maximum of 15 students) for an intense 2 hour review on Saturday May 9th from 6-8pm (NY time). This class will cover techniques for the first 3 themes of the exam - Beauty and Aesthetics, Contemporary Life, and Families and Communities. We will practice with readings and listening comprehensions from real exams and I will share my techniques for the e-mail response and the simulated conversation tasks. You will receive the organizers and templates I use in my classes.
DAY 2: Get ready for the AP Spanish Exam. Join a small group (maximum of 15 students) for an intense 2 hour review on Sunday May 10th from 6-8pm (NY time). This class will cover techniques for the last 3 themes of the exam - Global Challenges, Personal and Public Identities, and Science and Technology. We will practice with readings and listening comprehensions from real exams and I will share my techniques for the argumentative essay and the cultural comparison tasks. You will receive the organizers and templates I use in my classes.
Intense webinar to go over readings and listenings based on the 6 themes of the exam and the 2 writing and 2 speaking tasks. You’ll receive real practice exams and all my task templates and organizers.
Get back to advanced Spanish with this 2 quick day course on Tuesday August 25th & Thursday August 27th from 6:30-8pm (NY time). I will go over proven techniques and good practices that you can use in your upcoming AP Spanish Language and Culture class to be successful and have a good year. This course will include: how to properly responde to AP essentials questions, key advanced vocabulary for reading and listening comprehension passages, short writings, and websites and good practices you can use to continue studying during the year.
